Pre-MBA English Program


The Pre-MBA Business English Course is for non-native speakers of English entering the MBA program at

Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.


The course is designed to prepare students for the rigorous study demands of the MBA program.

Students will:


- learn how to read efficiently, practicing with authentic MBA case studies and course readings

- develop confidence in listening and speaking in meetings and team discussions

- practice giving oral presentations expected of MBA students

- polish their skills in writing business reports and case analyses.


This course will help you adapt your English skills to the demands of your MBA program and professional

life. The guidance and practice you receive in this course will help you communicate your ideas

more easily and effectively.
